Theophilus Imani

Theophilus Imani is a visual researcher whose work examines the representation of the Black body in diasporic visual culture. His practice weaves together archival research, visual criticism, and artistic production. Imani has served as a guest lecturer for the Visual Research Methods course at the University of Padua (Italy) and his work is held in the collections of MUDEC and Triennale Milano. He undertook G.A.S. Foundation's Annotations Residency in 2024.
